Robert Eastwell found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Thomas Hale in the parish of Wethersfield on 16th December 1769: stealing therefrom a woollen frieze coat (value at 12/-), a serge waistcoat (value at 13/-),  4 check linen shirts (valued at 8/-),  3 pairs of worsted stockings  (valued at 4/-)goods, chattels and money (valued at £1.12/-), a pair of hempen hawking bags (valued at 1/-) and 40/- in money numbered.
